Depending upon the level of investment as well as the sponsor's objectives, SFIFF sponsorship acknowledgement vehicles may include:

Pre-Screening Trailer
Runs before a selection of theatrical film presentations during SFIFF.

Pole Banners
Banners are hung up and down major business corridors for six weeks during the staging and execution of SFIFF.

Official Poster
One-sheet posters are produced and displayed at theaters, ticket locations and business venues throughout San Francisco for six weeks during the staging and execution of SFIFF.

Program Guide Sponsor Placement
SFIFF's Official Program Guide is a perfect-bound souvenir program, available to all attendees during the festival. Sponsors and marketing partners receive advertising print placement in the Official Program Guide. Sponsors and marketing partners receive logo acknowledgement in the catalog.

Print Advertising

SFIFF partners with a variety of local, regional, national and international publications and trade magazines to bring the Festival to the global film community and audience. Past print media partners have included the San Francisco Chronicle, Variety, Wired, 7x7 Magazine, San Francisco Magazine, San Francisco Bay Guardian, Where Magazine and Vanity Fair.

More than 500,000 people visit our very popular Web site during Festival times. Festival information and ticket sales are a popular feature of the site. Sponsors and marketing partners may receive logo placement and links from our Web site.

Email Newsletter
A bi-weekly enewsletter is distributed to SFFS members and Festival subscribers. ENews offers the most up-to-date SFIFF news and information about upcoming films and programs. Sponsors and marketing partners may receive acknowledgment for their support and promotional opportunities to reach this audience of avid film lovers. (23,000)

Press Releases
Press releases are sent out to local, regional, national and international media regarding SFIFF's films, special events and other offerings.

Public Recognition and Acknowledgment
Sponsors receive public recognition and thanks at the Opening Press Conference, Opening Night, Film Society Awards Night gala, Centerpiece event, Midnight Awards, Tribute Nights, Individual Sponsored Screenings and Closing Night.

Bimonthly Newsletter (print publication)
Sponsors and marketing partners may receive print recognition in SFFS newsletter, Picture Talk.

Onsite Opportunities
Brands and companies can create on-site presence and awareness in high traffic VIP/filmmaker areas such as the Hospitality / Guest Services Suite, filmmaker parties and the official Festival box office.

VIP/Filmmaker Festival Bags
SFIFF sponsors may distribute material such as a marketing collateral piece, bounce-back coupons and special offers, as well as sampling items as part of their sponsorship package.

Onsite Signage
SFIFF sponsors may place signs in high-traffic areas at designated screenings or receptions.

Reception Gift Bags
Sponsors have the opportunity to provide collateral, promotional items and samples in the gift bags distributed at Opening Night, as well as other special event opportunities throughout the Festival.

Film Tickets and Vouchers
Sponsors may receive screening vouchers good for SFIFF regular screenings that can be used for hospitality/entertainment purposes for VIPs, clients and employees.

Sponsor Access Passes
Sponsors may receive Access Passes that allow entrance without a ticket into most SFIFF screenings and select special events.

Invitations to Opening, Closing and Other Special Events
Sponsors may receive invitations to sold-out special events during SFIFF.

Prize Package Contribution
Sponsors and partners have the option to make a relevant contribution to the prize packages awarded to filmmakers.
