The Filmmaker360 Department houses an array of programs meant to assist filmmakers in financial, logistical and creative development of their projects. Below is an at-a-glance look at our program deadlines.

SFFS/KENNETH RAININ FOUNDATION FILMMAKING GRANT
The SFFS/Kenneth Rainin Foundation Filmmaking Grant supports feature narrative projects that significantly engage with issues of social justice.

Spring 2012 Round is now OPEN.
Letter of Inquiry period opens January 10, 2012 and closes February 1, 2011, late deadline is February 8, 2012.
Finalists are invited to submit additional materials February 27, 2012
Additional materials deadline for finalists is March 21, 2012
Winners will be announced April 2012

SFFS Documentary Film Fund is now CLOSED.
The SFFS Documentary Film Fund supports feature documentary films in postproduction.

Letter of Inquiry period opens April 9, 2012 and closes May 4, 2012, late deadline is May 11, 2012.
Finalists are invited to submit additional materials June 8, 2012
Additional materials deadline for finalists is July 11, 2012
Winners will be announced August 2012

SFFS/DJERASSI SCREENWRITING FELLOWSHIP
is now CLOSED.
The SFFS/Djerassi Screenwriting Fellowship will provide a one-month residency at the Djerassi Resident Artists Program for an emerging or established screenwriter.


SFFS/HEARST SCREENWRITING GRANT is now CLOSED.
The SFFS/Hearst Screenwriting Grant supports mid-career screenwriters currently writing a feature narrative script.

Letter of Inquiry period opens May 3, 2011 and closes June 7, 2012, late deadline is June 14, 2012
Finalists are invited to submit additional materials June 28, 2012
Additional materials deadline for finalists is July 27, 2012
Winner will be announced September 2012


FILMHOUSE RESIDENCIES
The FilmHouse Residencies make 2,800 square feet of production office space available free of charge to local independent filmmakers actively engaged in various stages of film production.

We are currently looking for a new home for the FilmHouse Residency Program. Please stay tuned as we secure our new location. Letter of Inquiry: Date TBA, 2012.
