The San Francisco Film Society is accepting requests for accreditation for the 2014 San Francisco International Film Festival (April 24-May 8) from film industry professionals and representatives of media arts organizations. Accreditation provides a variety of benefits including access to screenings, events, networking opportunities and specialized Festival services.

Celebrating 57 years, the San Francisco International Film Festival, the first in the Americas, is internationally renowned for its adventurous programming and sophisticated audiences. SFIFF is recognized as an excellent platform for new independently produced narrative features, documentaries, shorts, animations, television productions, experimental films and youth-produced works from across the country and around the world.  


For professionals from acquisitions, sales, distribution and exhibition organizations: There are two types of accreditation available for the 2014 Festival: Network and Industry. When you submit your form, please indicate which badge you are applying for. Availability is limited.

Industry Accreditation Application

Fee: $25 - Delegate welcome packet including 2014 SFIFF program guide and daily "Who's In Town" lists
- Access to the SFIFF57 Hospitality Lounge and use of its facilities (wi-fi, lounge area, etc.) during regular business hours
- Invitation to happy hours and other events at the SFIFF57 Hospitality Lounge
- Invitation to the Golden Gate Awards (May 7)
- Ticket purchases at discounted SFFS member rate 

Fee: $60
All of the above, plus: - On-demand viewing of Festival selections in the SFIFF57 Media Center
- Complimentary tickets to SFIFF screenings (up to 3 per day, available 1 day in advance, subject to availability)
- Invitations to private receptions and parties

Application for accreditation is open through Thursday, April 4. Applications submitted after this deadline will be subject to a $25 late fee. Accreditation in all categories is granted at the sole discretion of the San Francisco Film Society; badges are name-specific and non-transferable.
