We Were Here

It has been almost 30 years since the first cases of AIDS appeared in San Francisco. We Were Here will be the first deep and reflective look back on how the epidemic impacted the city and its inhabitants. The film will explore what was not so easy to discern in the midst of it all, especially the parallel histories of suffering and loss, and the extraordinary community coalescence and empowerment.
