Peter Galison, Rob Moss (USA 2007, 85 min)

Codirector Rob Moss in person.
Filmmaker and Harvard film professor Rob Moss visited a Future Leaders class at Gateway High School to talk to students about his timely documentary about U.S. government secrecy. Breaking down his filmmaking process, Moss provided guidance and inspiration to the students who were each working on community-based, social issue projects of their own.

Having the opportunity to sit with a group of smart, skeptical, alive high school students was memorable. After one minute at Gateway I became acutely aware of what a different kind of audience I was with. Speaking in front of a film festival audience, for example, one is with people who have chosen to come to you. Sitting in a high school classroom, on the other hand, you are on their turf. It was a pleasure to get to know them a bit, to have to think about my work in a way that might speak to them, and to hear about their projects, what was on their minds. —Rob Moss, director, Secrecy
