How do I redeem CineVouchers I've purchased?

To redeem your CineVouchers, go to the Film Society's ticketing site and click the Login Page link on the left side. Select the option "I want to redeem my CineVouchers." Enter your six digit CineVoucher code and your password. Then from the menu on the left, select the event you'd like to purchase tickets for, and select the film you would like to see. Under "Select Ticket Quantity" you'll see the option to redeem CineVouchers. Select the number of CineVouchers you'd like to redeem.

How do I redeem CineVouchers that are a benefit of my SFFS Membership?
Members at the Film Aficionado, Film Director, and Luminary Star levels receive CineVouchers as a benefit. To redeem your CineVouchers, go to the Film Society's ticketing site and click the Login Page link on the left side. Log in as a member; the benefit CineVoucher is tied directly to your member number. Once logged in, navigate to the films you would like to select using the menu of links on the left side of the screen. Under "Select Ticket Quantity" you'll see a price type "CineVoucher AFI". Select the number of CineVouchers you'd like to redeem here.

I just purchased a CineVoucher, but am still being charged when I select films.
Make sure that you are logged into your CineVoucher record before choosing your films. Go to the ticketing site and click the Login Page link on the left side. Select “I want to redeem my CineVouchers.” Keep in mind that CineVouchers are not valid for certain events, such as special event screenings, Opening Night Film and Party packages, or shows that have gone to rush.

Where can I find my CineVoucher number?
Your 6 digit CineVoucher number appears on the confirmation e-mail sent instantly after purchase. If you did not receive the e-mail, or are having difficulty locating the number, you can also access your CineVoucher number by going to the log in page, clicking “Forgot your member number?” and entering in your name and zip code.

Do I need to be a member to buy tickets online?

Membership is not required to purchase tickets online, but does provide many year-round benefits including discounted tickets, members-only purchasing period, and access to special events and preview screenings. For year-round membership levels, benefits and pricing, click here.

To purchase tickets as a non-member, simply select the films you would like to see, choose a delivery option, and then log in to complete your purchase. If you do not have a login and password, you will need to create a new customer profile to identify yourself within the system and for billing purposes.

I accidentally tried to log in as a member, now I am being prompted to log in as a member after every action. How do I just buy tickets?
Quit and reopen your browser and navigate to our ticketing site. Choose the event you’d like to purchase tickets for and select the films you would like to see. Choose a delivery option, and create a customer profile. If you have purchased tickets online from SFFS in 2011, you will be a returning customer; if not, you will need to create a new profile to identify you within the system and for billing purposes.

I forgot my login information, and can’t retrieve it with my zip code, even though I know it’s right!
If the zip code listed on your record is standard format (i.e. 94110-4018 as opposed to 94110), then you will need to enter the standard format to bring up your record. If problems persist, contact boxoffice@sffs.org immediately.

I’m still having trouble logging in!
Contact boxoffice@sffs.org for assistance, and we will do our best to provide you with the necessary information. If you are a member and need to retrieve your membership number, you can e-mail members@sffs.org.

How do I change my will-call name?
Please contact the Box Office as soon as possible at boxoffice@sffs.org with your name, the order number, and the name of the person you would like place on the Will Call envelope.

Why can't I select "mail" as the delivery option?
The screenings selected in the order are happening too close to the order date to safely ensure delivery by mail, so the option has been "cut off". For regular, non-festival Film Society Cinema screenings, will call is the only delivery option available.

What does "At Rush" mean?
Last-minute tickets—rush tickets—may be available just before showtime when advance tickets have sold out. A rush line will form outside the venue usually one hour before showtime. Approximately ten minutes prior to the screening, empty seats are counted and will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis to those in line. Rush tickets will only be sold to those actually waiting in line. No discounts, cash only. Only applicable to mini-festivals.
