Sara Dosa coordinates the grants and residencies programs at the Film Society and provides project support to the Filmmaker Services Department. She has worked in Bay Area independent film for the past five years as a producer, editor, writer and researcher.  She is currently co-directing and producing two documentaries, Dreaming in American and Roots and Webs, which, through different character-driven subject matter, explore themes of community and capitalism. Sara holds a BA in anthropology from Wesleyan University and a joint Masters in anthropology and international development from the London School of Economics.
